Our Admissions Policy
Smart Kids School welcomes every child. We are committed to a fair, transparent and inclusive admissions process. We do not discriminate on the basis of race, religion, gender, nationality, disability, family background or special educational needs.
- Disability & SEN: Reasonable adjustments are offered for every applicant. Our learning support team meets each family individually.
- Anti-discrimination: All applications are evaluated on the same criteria; we celebrate diversity in every classroom.
- Safeguarding: Background checks are carried out for all staff and visitors; child wellbeing is our highest priority.
Admissions Procedure
1. Apply
Complete our short online application and book a campus tour.
2. Visit & meet
Tour the school, meet our team and ask any questions.
3. Assessment
A friendly initial assessment to understand your child’s strengths.
4. Offer & enrol
Receive an offer and complete enrolment to secure the place.
Policies that matter to families
- Refund policy: Full refund of fees within 14 days of payment, less the non-refundable registration fee.
- Fee payment: Termly or monthly plans available; sibling discounts and bursaries on request.
- Transfer Certificate (TC): Issued within 7 working days once all dues are settled.
- Staff welfare: Competitive pay, professional development budget, and dedicated wellbeing support.
- Parental leave: Full statutory entitlement plus a flexible return-to-work program.
Initial Assessment
Our initial assessment is informal and child-friendly. We spend time playing, reading and chatting so we can understand each child’s strengths and the support they may need to thrive at Smart Kids.
- 30–45 minutes, on campus
- One of our teachers and a learning support specialist
- Parents are welcome to wait nearby
- Outcome shared within 5 working days
